Barrier Isolators
Isolators are generally used in applications requiring a high degree of protection from external elements or contaminants, and they can serve as alternatives to sophisticated cleanrooms.
Our isolators feature built-in air filtration systems capable of significantly reducing the particle count in an enclosed area.
RTG tests barrier isolators per USP797/800 and CETA guidelines.
Laminar Flow Units (LFU)
Clean benches direct HEPA-filtered airflow across the work area to provide ISO Class 5 (Class 100) virtually particulate-free work area for conducting procedures.
RTG tests laminar flow units in accordance with IEST and manufacturer guidelines.
Animal Transfer Stations (ATS)
Animal Transfer Stations (ATS) employ both containment and laminar airflow to provide optimal sterility for lab animals as well as robust allergen protection during animal research.
All ATS operate based on a “push-pull” concept wherein a supply motor above the work surface and an exhaust motor below, create a powerful piston of air to ensure clean air during animal research.
At RTG, we evaluate the performance of ATS using the manufacturer’s specifications.
Fume Hoods
A fume hood is a ventilated, enclosed workspace intended to capture, contain and exhaust harmful or dangerous fumes, vapors and particulate matter generated by procedures conducted within the fume hood.
RTG tests fume hoods according to AIHA/ANSI Z9.5 Lab Ventilation Standards or manufacturer’s specifications.
Lift Repair Services
RTG offers repairs on hydraulic and electric lift systems for Biological Safety Cabinets (BSC) and Animal Transfer Stations (ATS).
All repairs are performed by factory-trained technicians.
